Nokia, Microsoft announce partnership

Nokia recently announced that it is going to form a partnership with Microsoft as a way of mounting a stiffer competition with Android equipped mobile devices and Apple’s iPhone. The partnership indicates that Nokia will now make Windows Phone its main smartphone strategy. Basically, Microsoft will be handling the software innovations while Nokia will be in charge of hardware development. But the partnership will also include such technologies like Nokia Maps, which will also be integrated into some of Microsoft’s products like the Bing search engine.
Only time will tell if the Nokia – Microsoft partnership will be strong enough to pose a real threat to the iPhone and Android dominance in the market.

Latest Pocket PC Software

Imagine a world where a device in your pocket lets you know whether you are managing your time well, talking too much on a sales call, or getting enough sleep. And imagine that device being used to deliver on-the-job learning at the point of need — helping to develop employees by allowing them to set specific goals, then giving them objective measures of whether their behavior patterns match the goals they’ve set. Sounds like science fiction? The idea is closer to reality than you think. Accenture Technology Labs has developed a prototype Mobile Personal Services Platform (MPSP), which makes it possible to develop applications that can transform a mobile phone into a customized personal coach.
